Spend a Rainy Day Dining in Town Square

It looks as though Asheville's April showers have arrived early, but we're hoping that the raindrops mean that the flowers will be budding in Biltmore Park Town Square sooner than expected as well. In the meantime, Biltmore Park is already blooming with plenty of things for you to do on a rainy day, and the restaurants are more inviting than ever with new specials arriving just in time for spring.

Working in Biltmore Park Town Square is already a wonderful experience, and part of the appeal is being able to walk to an assortment of restaurants during the lunch hour. Brixx Pizza is making our office locations an even better deal by offering 15% off lunch or dinner to those who work in Town Square. And if you don't work in Biltmore Park, there are plenty of other offers to enjoy, including getting two pizzas for the price of one on Tuesday when you present a coupon.

The Hilton Asheville's onsite restaurant, roux, is a great stop, too. The offer specials every day of the week, including half-price sandwiches on Tuesdays and half-price selected wines on Fridays, which is the perfect way for you to lift your spirits on the wet and windy days.

If you tend to dine out for dinner more than lunch, 131 MAIN Restaurant has several specials that are sure to please your palate. Stop by on Tuesday evenings for live music and half-prices bottles of wine (up to $100/bottle), and keep an eye out for specials on appetizers during happy hour, including their famous cast iron cornbread. In addition, Travinia Italian Kitchen features half-price martinis on Wednesdays--making for a perfect way to begin an evening mid-week.

Don't forget to stop by P.F. Chang's, Hickory Tavern, and Cold Stone Creamery, either. All are sure to boost your spirits during the spring rains or even during the warmer days. Most restaurants feature outdoor seating, which will become a daily option before we know it. Until then, bon appetite, and here's to looking towards spring!

Step into Spring with Style

After a wonderful weekend of warmer temperatures, Asheville is more ready for spring than ever. Fortunately, there are some promising signs that it isn't far away, and Biltmore Park Town Square is already gearing up for the new season. As shoe salons, local boutiques, and national retailers stock up on the latest fashion trends, residents of and visitors to Western North Carolina are brushing off their cabin fever and reacquainting their winter-weary hearts with some of their favorite Asheville destinations.

This past weekend, Town Square patrons caught up on the latest blockbuster hits at Regal, watched the Olympics at Hickory Tavern, enjoyed great company at 131 MAIN Restaurant, and refreshed their winter wardrobes with spring looks from Moda and Constance Boutique. The warm weather brought out joggers, too, who took in the day from Town Square's tree-lined streets and the Reuter Family YMCA.

While winter may not have had its last word, Biltmore Park is ready to keep up the momentum from the weekend and step into spring with style. Even if the temperatures aren't quite where we want them to be, Town Square restaurants and retailers are at hand to offer creative ideas for shielding off the winter blues. First, try the Blue Ridge Harvest treatment at Sparrow Spa. The face and body treatment includes antioxidant-rich blueberries, which will help heal your winter skin and remind you of the upcoming season. Next, stop by REI and participate in one of their many free classes. Learn new skills for spring activities like maintaining your bike or reading a map and compass. Afterwards, you may even consider going by Cold Stone Creamery. While you may not want to dive into an ice cream cones in the outdoor elements, relaxing in their seating area while you enjoy your treat may be just the thing you need to remind you that warmer days are on their way.

Whaterver your choice may be, Biltmore Park is ready to help you prepare for another season and get the most out of the one that's winding down. From offices and residential space to bookstores and hair salons, you'll find it all in Town Square.

Be Loved at Biltmore Park

This February, Biltmore Park Town Square is working on adding some red and pink into Asheville's gray days. Even with the rain and snow, restaurants and retailers are gearing up to help residents and visitors rediscover romance. While Town Square is fully stocked with your Valentine's Day needs, including flowers from Blossoms, dinner at 131 MAIN, gifts from Sparrow Spa, and sweets from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, they're also excited to announce that there will be a few surprises coming Asheville's way, too.

Beginning on Monday, February 8th, and in partnership with the Asheville Regional Airport and Mix 96.5, Biltmore Park Town Square will be giving away some fabulous Valentine's Day-themed gifts on Ken and Tammy's morning show. Tune in Monday through Thursday for your chance to win luxurious gift baskets and services from Sensibilities Day Spa and Sparrow Spa, movie passes to the Regal Biltmore Grande Stadium 15, certificates to 131 MAIN, art from Echo Gallery, and even a weekend stay at Town Square's Hilton Asheville. Throughout the week, don't forget to stop by Biltmore Park, too, and get a head start on securing your February 14th plans. While you're there, you can also register to win a three night stay at the Hilton in sunny Orlando, airfare compliments of AirTran and Asheville Regional Airport and $500 of spending money included.

Of course, if you aren't lucky enough to win one of the prizes, Biltmore Park Town Square is still available to supply you with plenty of creative Valentine's dieas. Moda, Constance Boutique, and Talloni carry great gifts for the special woman in your life, and men will love restaurants like Hickory Tavern and Brixx Pizza, which serve quality food and beer and offer patrons a casual alternative to the more romantically-themed Travinia Italian Kitchen and P.F. Chang's. Visitors may want to indulge in spa packages, too, with Sensibilities' Sweetheart Package and Sparrow Spa's special that includes a couple's massage and champagne and dessert.

Whatever your choice may be, you will find that you can be loved at Biltmore Park Town Square, but don't limit yourself to one day out of the year. Town Square restaurants and retailers are always available for your shopping, dining, and gift card needs and are happy to offer creative ideas for getting the most out of your experience.
