Luella's BBQ, a stalwart of the Asheville foodie scene, will be celebrating 15 years in business on August 25th, 2022. To honor this occasion, the Luella’s staff voted on a minimum $10,000 donation to the Downtown Welcome Table in their ongoing efforts to combat food insecurity in Western North Carolina. Additionally, the Merrimon Avenue and Biltmore Park locations will feature an open smoker with a whole hog on that day from 4pm to 8pm. Patrons will be able to sample a “pig pickin” while enjoying specially brewed beer from Green Man Brewery – Popcorn Lager. There will also be anniversary merchandise giveaways during the event.
