Santa in the Square & Holiday Market

On December 6, Santa arrives in Biltmore Park for visits from 3–6 PM, bringing a full evening of live music from The Paper Crowns, joyful caroling, stilt-walker entertainment, and a holiday photo booth perfect for capturing the magic.

Need unique gifts? More than 35 local artisans and farmers will fill the Holiday Market from 3-7 PM with Christmas trees, crafts, treats, and one-of-a-kind finds.

Lake Julian’s Festival of Lights

For a classic and cozy holiday outing, drive through Lake Julian’s Festival of Lights from December 2–23. Enjoy shimmering lights reflecting on the lake, glowing displays, and matching holiday music on Rewind 100.3. The lights run nightly from 6–9 PM, and 20% of proceeds benefit Buncombe County Special Olympics, so your evening of cheer also supports the local community.

One of Asheville’s most iconic seasonal traditions, Candlelight Christmas Evenings at Biltmore Estate, brings a nostalgic kind of holiday magic to America’s largest home. Thousands of twinkling lights, garlands, evergreens, and glowing fireplaces fill the rooms with a warm, old-fashioned charm.
