Picture a stroll through Biltmore Park with a warm drink in hand and the smell of baked treats drifting through the air. Vendors welcome you to their booths full of handmade treasures, and the sound of cheerful music fills the square. You might even spot everyone’s favorite festive mischief-maker, the Grinch! The world feels cozy, bright, and chock full of excitement. This is the kind of evening that quickly becomes a family tradition.
From 4-8 PM, Biltmore Park transforms into a bustling holiday marketplace featuring 35+ local vendors. If you like supporting small businesses and discovering gifts that feel personal and thoughtful, this is the place to be.

You can even take home a fresh-cut Christmas tree or wreath from our friends at Country Fields. There’s something timeless about leaving a holiday market with a wreath tucked under your arm or a tree tied to your car roof, marking the official start of the season.
Whether you arrive with a shopping list in mind or simply want to soak in the sights and flavors of winter, this market offers something warm and wonderful at every turn.
The highlight of the evening takes place at 6:30 PM, when the community gathers in the center of Biltmore Park Town Square to watch the annual Tree Lighting. This year, we are thrilled to welcome the Koontz Intermediate School Band, who will help kick off the ceremony with festive music. Friends hold steaming cups, parents lift little ones to see better, and neighbors huddle up to chat. Then comes the countdown, the collective anticipation, and the glow of the tree bursting to life. In case a white Christmas isn’t in the cards we’ve got snowblowers prepped to make the evening even more special. This cozy yet magical experience is sure to become an annual tradition for you and your family if it isn’t already.
