The 7th Annual South Asheville Turkey Trot, hosted by iDaph Events is coming to Biltmore Park Town Square this Thanksgiving! Here’s your guide to prepare for a fun, festive, and family-friendly run (or walk) through scenic South Asheville.

Race Details:

The South Asheville Turkey Trot is a 5k designed for runners, joggers, and walkers of all levels. Starting at 9:00 AM, this 90 minute race allows everyone the opportunity for their own picture-perfect finish. For our more professional runners, this race is also professionally chip-timed, fully-marked and USATF Certified, so feel free to put your all into it and go for a record!

This 5-kilometer loop will start you off in the center of beautiful Biltmore Park Town Square at the corner of Town Square Boulevard and Walterstone Road. From there, the route will take you through the serene neighborhoods of South Asheville, bursting with Fall color as you and your family start your Holidays on the right (then left) foot. Finally, the race will come back down Town Square Boulevard where you will make it through the finish line feeling like a champ!

Getting ready to crush the Turkey Trot this Thanksgiving? Whether you are a seasoned runner or this is your first race, the right gear can make all the difference. Luckily, at Biltmore Park Town Square, we have you covered.

Not an experienced racer? Our Turkey costume contest still gives you the chance to walk away a winner. Come alone or with your flock and puff your feathers for a chance at some great prizes while going through the course at your own pace.

A Race for Everyone:

The South Asheville Turkey Trot is built with accessibility and inclusivity in mind. To make it easier for everyone to be involved, we offer a few distinct advantages:

No matter how you want to race, you will still get the same shirt, the same medal, and the same feeling of accomplishment. Just make sure to submit your race results on the iDaph website if you choose to participate in the virtual option!
