This January a new, locally owned bridal boutique will open in Biltmore Park – Wildflower Bridal. This boutique will specialize in wedding gowns along with unique bridal accessories, many of which have not been available in the Asheville and surrounding markets before. Wildflower Bridal will be located next to Talloni, A Shoe Salon, in Suite 140 in the Two Town Square building along Schenck Parkway.
The owner of Wildflower Bridal, Margaux Weinstock Schrager, has many years of experience within the fashion industry as a buyer and has worked with many designers. Schrager plans to feature popular bridal lines in the store such as: Nicole Miller, Watters, Blush, Sarah Seven and Hayley Paige.
"Asheville brides are currently traveling relatively far distances to find their wedding dresses. Additionally, with its beautiful scenery, mild climate, and central location along the East Coast, Western North Carolina continues to be one of the nation's leading wedding destinations. Out-of-town brides who are hosting their weddings in Asheville consistently want to go dress shopping while they're in town to meet with their other vendors, and there isn't anywhere to direct them,” states Schrager. “It is my hope that with the opening of Wildflower Bridal in Biltmore Park, brides will have a convenient place to shop for dresses in a luxurious setting that is as much about customer service and the overall experience as it is about finding 'the dress,' all while 'keeping it local'- a core value of Asheville's economic culture."
