Yoga in the Park Has Begun!
A chilly April morning didn’t stop the start of something new in Biltmore Park. This past Saturday yogis gathered on the Town Square Green to kick-off a brand-new weekly Yoga in the Park series – partnering with YMCA instructors. Led by instructor Tom Hey, the Slow Flow Yoga session brought warmth and calm through mindful movement and breath.
Tom guided participants through a thoughtful practice that blended strength and balance with expert mindfulness and meditation techniques. Along the way, he shared insights into the history of yoga, creating a grounded, enriching experience for all who attended.
As we move into sunnier spring days, Yoga in the Park continues every Saturday from 10:00–11:00 a.m. on the Town Square Green (right in front of the YMCA). These outdoor sessions are free and open to all.
