Enjoy fresh air and exercise before gathering around the table for your Thanksgiving feast! Make plans to bring your family and friends and join in on the fun. You’ll share smiles and miles as part of this incredible, annual tradition. The South Asheville Turkey Trot has become more and more popular, and registration is open! We have limited spots available this year, with availability for only 1,500 in-person participants. We are honored to support Sheep Dog Impact Assistance again at this year’s event. Sheep Dog will use the funds from the race for various program needs including purchasing and providing care packages for First Responders on Christmas Eve plus providing Christmas meals and gifts for Veteran and First Responder kids and families. In addition, funds will be allocated to send veterans and first responders that are struggling with PTSD to a dedicated program for additional support and resources.
