Running and Fitness Store to Open

June 9, 2014

This August Biltmore Park Town Square will welcome Fleet Feet Sports Asheville.  This new addition will specialize in shoes and apparel geared towards running, walking and other fitness activities – along with offering training programs and educational resources to area residents.  Fleet Feet Sports Asheville will be located next to Charming Charlie along Town Square Boulevard directly across the street from LOFT.

Whether customers walk, run or simply need a good fitting pair of shoes, the educators at Fleet Feet Sports Asheville will work with patrons to evaluate their foot’s gait and natural biomechanics to help them find a shoe that offers the best fit and function.

Local Owner Mark Scott believes, “As operators, Shawna and I are so proud to be in the Asheville community.  Our goal is to enhance the walking and running communities centered here.  We love the culture, landscape and people of Asheville.”

Fleet Feet Sports Asheville plans to be an active part of the running and walking community; from offering training classes to social runs and gatherings, they intend to connect area residents through fitness no matter what level.  Visit their Facebook page (Facebook.com/FleetFeetAsheville) to stay up-to-date with their event calendar and promotions leading up to their grand opening.
