We’re getting ready to paint the town pink!
Biltmore Park Town Square is proud to host the Third Annual Pink in the Park on October 6th, 2012 to raise money to provide mammograms to low-income women in Western North Carolina and to benefit Beauty Through Cancer and Ladies Night Out.
Town Square is going to be a beautiful sight during October! Many of our stores and restaurants will be decorating their storefronts pink and some of our restaurants will be donating a portion of their proceeds on certain days to both Beauty Through Cancer and Ladies Night Out. Keep a watch on our Facebook and Twitter profiles for more information through the month of October.
Beauty Through Cancer helps women to feel beautiful and confident while they are going through breast cancer, with free services such as makeup, and skin care and beauty tips, and Ladies Night Out, a program facilitated through the Asheville Breast Center and the Buncombe County Health Department, provides health screenings and mammograms to women in financial need.
The 5K walk starts at 10 a.m in Biltmore Park Town Square. The registration for this event is $25.00 per participant (if groups have more than 10 people, the cost per participant is $20). Event participants can register for this event in advance online or by downloading a participation form (click here to download this document).
Can't make it to the event but want to make a donation? Visit our event page to make a donation to the local non-profits, Beauty Through Cancer and Ladies Night Out.
