The Asheville Cinema Society presents Kings of Pastry

This coming Tuesday, February 22nd, at 7 pm the Asheville Cinema Society will show the Kings of Pastry at the Regal Biltmore Grande Stadium 15 in Biltmore Park Town Square.

This movie showcases sixteen French pastry chefs competing in the prestigious Meilleurs Ouvriers de France competition (Best Craftsmen in France).  Winning this competition is a dream and sometimes an obsession for French pastry chefs.  The film captures the high-stakes drama of the competition – the passion, sacrifice, disappointment, and joy in the quest to become one of the Kings of Pastry.

After the screening of this movie join local French chef Michel Baudouin as he assists with a Q&A session at Travinia Italian Kitchen next to the theater.
