Biltmore Park Welcomes The University of Phoenix

December 15, 2010

Monday, February 2, marked the opening of the University of Phoenix in Biltmore Park Town Square. A wonderful addition to Biltmore Park, and to the larger Asheville, NC area, it is the first branch to serve students in Western North Carolina. Situated in a mixed-use community, the University of Phoenix has opened its doors to an ideal location. With restaurants, shopping, office and residential space, and a YMCA, students have everything they need to pursue their educational goals while not putting their lives on hold. Premier South Asheville townhomes and condos neighbor national and local retailers, and everything from a coffee shop to a movie theater are in walking distance from the University.

With all of these amenities in one place, Biltmore Park promises to offer the most convenient and beautiful experience that living in Asheville has to offer. The location is the perfect place for these two innovative ventures to meet, promising great opportunities for students, the city of Asheville, and Biltmore Park patrons alike. While the University is currently offering enrollment for online classes, the on-site learning center remains a fantastic resource for students, offering on-demand tutoring, areas for collaborative learning with other students, and support for those with enrollment and financial concerns. Of course, it also provides a quiet place outside of work and home for professionals to study.

The largest private university in North America, the University of Phoenix specializes in working with students who are already in the workforce, part of a family, or invovled in other activities that they don't want to have to set aside. The University of Phoenix offers flexible schedules, stimulating course work, and interactive learning so that students can learn at a pace and style that works best for them. Serving a diverse student body population, the University offers Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral programs, so that busy adults in a variety of fields can have many levels of learning at their fingertips. Call to find out if a degree program in your field of study is offered online through the University's new South Asheville location.

Visit the University of Phoenix's website to learn more about how they can help you reach your goals. Also, stop by for a walk around Biltmore Park Town Square to see for yourself why it is where everybody, from the University to retailers to residents, wants to be.
