This Saturday, June 18th from noon until 3 p.m. in Cecil Park join Mission Healthcare Foundation for the Epilepsy Awareness Summer Fling. This event will have live music from The Caribbean Cowboys, a silent auctioon, games, and face painting. Proceeds from the summer fling will benefit the Joshua David Chapnick Epilepsy and Seizure Disorder fund at the Mission Healthcare Foundation. This organization supports those with seizure disorders by helping with medication and transportation costs. Since the fund's formation in July 2010 they have raised over $11,000.
