City Market South Outdoor Market Opens April 3rd!

It’s almost that time again, spring is around the corner and so is the outdoor farmer’s market at Biltmore Park Town Square. Put together by the Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project (ASAP), the city market, located along the esplanade, will begin on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013 and will continue on until the end of October. The City Market South will be every Wednesday from 1pm-5pm.

South Asheville's producer-only market features food from local farmers including farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, grass fed beef, pastured pork, free range chicken, delicious pastries, gourmet artisan and farmstead cheeses, handmade pasta, pre-made French specialties, fruit butters, and preserves, as well as natural body care products, artisan art & crafts, nursery plants, mountain herbs, and cut flowers.
