Concert in the Park Series set to kickoff on May 19th

Spend an evening enjoying the sounds of summer with live music in Biltmore Park Town Square. The 2018 Concerts in the Park kick off on Saturday, May 19th.  Grab a blanket and join us in Cecil Park, the green space near Hickory Tavern and Brixx Wood Fired Pizza, for Concerts in the Park. The annual outdoor concer series is held once a month, May – September, from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Concerts are FREE and open to the public.

***Concerts in the Park will be held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather the concert will be moved inside Hickory Tavern***

2018 Concerts in the Park Schedule:

Saturday, May 19th – The Marsha Morgan Band 
The MMB consists of many very talented and experienced musicians. When you hear the MMB, you are in for fun! The MMB involves the crowd and makes you want to dance and sing-along! The band plays a variety of music including beach, dance, rock, country, and much more! The bandmembers are Jim Rhodes, Danny Eller, Joe Didato, Johnny House, and Marsha Morgan. The MMB promises a good time and a good memory! Come out and bring your lawn chairs!

Saturday, June 16th – Asheville Rock Academy
Under the leadership of Anne Coombs since 2007, the Asheville Rock Academy has been teaching aspiring teen guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboardists, and singers how to play various styles of rock as well as stagecraft.

Saturday, July 21st – Hot Sauce
Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, Hot Sauce is a 5-piece band of seasoned musicians ready to get you on the dance floor!
Playing all your favorites including high energy rock, pop, soul and everything in between.

Saturday, August 25th – Lyric
Singer-songwriter, Leeda Lyric Jones is a Western North Carolina favorite and holds several Mountain Xpress “best of” awards including, but not limited to: best funk band,best vocalist, best lyricist, best r&b/soul, best singer-songwriter, all around favorite band and band that gives back to the community.

Saturday, September 15th – Dashboard Blue
Dashboard Blue is a five piece band based in Asheville, NC that play a wide variety of music including Rock, R&B, 50′s, Disco, Funk, Pop, Beach, Motown, Country and the classics.
