The Forecast in Biltmore Park Town Square Calls for Snow, Santa Claus and A Lot of Holiday Cheer this Saturday

December 15, 2010

Even though the temperatures in Asheville are supposed to be above freezing this Saturday, December 11th, Biltmore Park Town Square’s forecast calls for snow.  At the Tree Lighting Celebration on Saturday, December 11th, from 3 pm to 6 pm, Biltmore Park will transform Town Square Blvd. into a winter wonderland near the newly installed Christmas Tree donated by Volvo Construction Equipment.  This event will feature carolers, storytellers, a magician, hot cocoa and cider, falling snow, and, of course, Santa Claus.  Bring your family and friends to help Santa turn the tree lights on at 6 pm that evening.

Don’t forget to bring your camera to this event.  As Biltmore Park Town Square’s gift to you, all photos with Santa are FREE.
